Australian Mist Cats - Appearance

Mist Cats possess broad head with widely set ears, which are medium to large, wide at the base, with rounded tips, and tilted slightly forwards. In profile the nose shows a gentle dip, not break. The nose is firm, balanced by a firm chin and strong whisker pads. The eyes of Australian Mist Cats are large and lustrous, wide apart, slanting towards the nose, upper lid is straight, and lower is curved. A purebred Australian Mist Cat has only green eyes.

• Shallow, long or flat scull; pinched muzzle;
• Upright or small ears;
• Small or round eyes;
• Fine bones or poor muscle tone;
• Whippy or kinked tail;
• Wooly or sleek coat, lack of warmth in the undercoat;
• White toes;
• Any eye color beside green;
• Pattern on flanks obscured by over masking resulting in lack of definition.
